New Biometric system introduced for buying and selling Vehicle in Pakistan

Provincial Minister of Excise and Taxation Hafiz Mohammad Mumtaz Ahmed has said that a Bio-metric system has been introduced to boost the purchase of vehicles. There will be a Universal Number, and the smart card has also been introduced by eliminating registration copy. The Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Excise and Taxation Chaudhry Faisal Farooq Cheema, further added that reforms have been made on priority basis in the affected departments in priority bases.
No new tax has been imposed while the target was set by the previous government, we have recovered more than 15% revenue.

He said that the ex-government had defaulted of billions rupees in the province while the present government had gone from default to surplus in just one year.
The provincial minister said that strict monitoring of all the district and divisional departments of the excise department is underway, while the agent mafia has been abolished and facilities of collection of money has been set up at all offices for the citizens and all revenue, including tax, is being received by the banks.

He said that the black sheep in the department are being strictly accounted and Cases are being sent to the Anti-Corruption Department against corrupt officers and employees while some have been dismissed. The provincial minister said that the culture of subsidy and debt in the country is being discouraged because all the burden is on the people. He said that PTI government does not believe in traditional politics. Every effort is being made to achieve these by setting all goals for change in the country.
